Facebook and Warmer Bros are at it again with both coming together to form a collabo that will see Facebook users rent movies on the social media.
Batman became the first movie to debut on the social mental service after the partnership was announced.
More About Facebook Movie
From the words of the president of Warner Bros Digital, Thomas Gewecke “Facebook has become a daily destination for hundreds of millions of people. Making our films available through Facebook is a natural extension of our digital distribution efforts. It gives consumers a simple, convenient way to access and enjoy our films through the world’s largest social network.”
So with this, movie fans will have to pay some cash to get these movies. Every movie on Facebook will cost fans 30 Facebook credits or $3. On payment, the client will have total control of the movie for 48 hours after they have made a purchase.
Film fans should expect more movies titles with time. I know most of you were able to watch Inception and The Dark Knight on your Mobile (Android or iPhone – iPhones and iPads).
More movies to follow in the following weeks.
